Meet Brian

Brian Rollefson, the founder of Live Wide Leadership, is a seasoned senior executive human resources leader and certified confidence coach. With extensive expertise in employee training, engagement, and talent development, Brian has earned a stellar reputation for creating and delivering high-quality, impactful leadership development programs.

Background

Brian is a 21-year veteran of the US Air Force, where he excelled in several leadership roles, including serving as the commandant and director of a fully accredited college-level leadership school. Throughout his military career, Brian led several critical operations both domestically and internationally, including multiple deployments.

 

After retiring from the Air Force, Brian joined Oshkosh Defense, a segment of Oshkosh Corporation. There, he oversaw the development and delivery of both technical and soft skills training. He also managed several strategic initiatives, including material management, frontline leadership development, line-side training, and fostering a people-first culture. Brian led his team through the successful ratification and implementation of a six-year, $1 billion labor agreement.

 

Currently, as well as founding and steering Live Wide Leadership, Brian leads human resources and staff development at The Community Blood Center. In this role, he leads a team of human resources professionals, overseeing full-cycle human resources activities to include developing and delivering an in-house leadership development program focused on employee engagement and experience.

Brian was invited to be one of the founding facilitators at the Center for Exceptional Leadership (CEL) at St. Norbert College, where he delivered training to C-Suite and senior-level leaders for the seven years. This staked Brian as an expert in leadership development, to include confidence, influence, and difficult conversations, Brian has also built and delivered a training program for Ben Fauske, the author and founder of Rise Leadership LLC, to support Ben’s mission of fostering Authentic Confidence. Additionally, Brian is a certified coach and trainer for Authentic Confidence.
